WWE News: Brock Lesnar 400+ Days as Universal Champion

The Reigning, Defending, Undisputed, World Heavyweight Universal Champion just made history! WWE Universal Championship was created because of the empty spot left for the Raw brand as Dean Ambrose was drafted with the Championship. Mick Foley introduced the title, and proud to say that Finn Balor was the first champion. After Finn sustaining an injury and relinquishing the title, it was Owen’s team to shine until Goldberg’s return.

Goldberg’s title run as the Universal Championship was short and just lasted 28, he lost his title to Brock Lesnar. Ever since then, we have only seen the Universal Champion and the belt once a month or sometimes once in three months! While as a wrestling fan am really disappointed with what WWE gave up as the Wrestlemania main event. That was Roman Reigns’ time to shine as the Universal Champion and that was our time to see a full-time Universal Champion.

But WWE significantly still trust Brock Lesnar. Guess what, it has been 400+ days since Brock Lesnar won the UV title.

Here are the matches that when Lesnar defended his title against:

1. Samoa Joe – Great Balls of Fire 2017.
2. Roman Reigns, Samoa Joe & Braun Strowman – Summerslam 2018.
3. Braun Strowman – No Mercy 2017.
4. Kane & Braun Strowman – Royal Rumble 2018.
5. Roman Reigns – Wrestlemania 34.
6, Roman Reigns – Greatest Royal Rumble.

We can clearly see that Brock has only defended his title 6 times. WWE is planning to break 434 title reign of CM Punk, but this should not happen.

It is being rumored that Brock Lesnar will be competing at the Money in the Bank PPV but this can only happen if the part-timer has something to do with.

Congraluation for Brock Lesnar for being the longest reigning Universal Champion, and stepping on to the 400+ benchmark.
