WWE Live Toronto (23/03/18) – Kevin Owens & Sami Zayn really Fired?

Background

Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn recently got fired because of attacking the Smackdown Live commissioner, who resigned his post later that night, Shane McMahon. Daniel Bryan, The General Manager of Smackdown Live fired Kevin Owens and Sami Zyan the following week as a result of this.

Even though they were fired, these two superstars interfered in a latest WWE Live event and issued the warning and cut their usual rookie promo.

Why Sami Zyan has teamed up with Kevin Owens?

Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens were just best friends when they were at NXT. Later they got separated which resulted in the back to back matches and then emerged the breathtaking match at Battleground 2016. Which featured Sami Zyan using his finisher twice and scored the pin.

That was the end of the rivalry of Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens as the brand split was trending and Kevin Owens won the Universal Championship. Everything restarted when Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn, both got drafted to Smackdown as a result of Superstar Shakeup 2017 after Wrestlemania 33.

Owen’s referred him as the New Face of American and Sami Zayn was featured in Money in the Bank 2016. Only until Hell in A Cell 2017.

Sami Zayn assisted Kevin Owen, joined hands with Owens once again to save him from the jump of Shane McMahon from the steel cage of Hell in a Cell. Until then, these two superstars were featured in almost every PPV of Smackdown Live. Where they even got World Title Opportunity many times.

What’s The Call?

At Fastlane 2018, Shane McMahon screwed these two men and buried Sami Zyan’s dream of winning a title on the main roster. Which generated buzz and later that week, Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens brutally assaulted Shane McMahon after he temporarily resigned his commissioner post.

Next Week, WWE cleared Daniel Bryan to return in-ring action. But still he is the general manager of Smackdown Live and he did his job correctly and fired them, both superstars for attacking Shane McMahon.

Unfortunately, his same move resulted in him to get exhausted. After Daniel announcing that Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn is fired, they assaulted Daniel Bryan and destroyed him on the very first night he was cleared.

This didn’t end there as these superstars invaded the latest WWE Live event at Toronto to showcase their dominance.

Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn surprisingly ran through the crowd and cut off a promo “Shane McMahon is wrong and Daniel Bryan is now a corporate suck up and that they were wrongfully fired.”

This would be the second time on a row where a suspended or fired superstar entering the arena.

Conclusion

According to all sources, this could be a part of storyline and WWE is planning for Shane McMahon & Daniel Bryan vs Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn. If this could happen, then it could possibly start the Wrestlemania 34 but I wish this should not be featured in the Kick Off Show.

As always, when we get some more clarity about this we will update the post.
