WWE Backlash 2018: Daniel Bryan vs Big Cass Match Preview

We have Backlash this Sunday, which will be a co-branded PPV. Backlash 2018’s card looks awesome on paper. Here is one of the match that will be happening for the first time, Daniel Bryan vs Big Cass.

Daniel Bryan returned to action at Wrestlemania 34 by defeating the odds of Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens. Critics and common fans appreciated Daniel Bryan’s performance as it seems like he doesn’t have ring rust at all, after being idle for 2+ years.

On the other hand, we have Big Cass, who was the former partner of Enzo Amore and betrayed him only to sustain injury. Big Cass returned to in-ring action at Smackdown Live after Wrestlemania and attacked Daniel Bryan.

Greatest Royal Rumble picture…

Daniel Bryan entered at #1 in the 50 men greatest rumble and broke the record of longest survival in a Rumble match. Big Cass entered the match at #49 and eliminated Daniel Bryan out of the match. Unfortunately, both men didn’t win the Rumble, Strowman eliminated Big Cass. Big Cass really costed Daniel Bryan that match as a part of the storyline.

This match represents the blue brand at Backlash. Big Cass has emerged as one of the top heels of WWE right now. Daniel Bryan, on the other hand, has the biggest reputation for showcasing classic matches whenever he is on the match card.

Prediction for the match…

Big Cass looks taller and stronger than Daniel Bryan. Daniel Bryan looks more energetic and agile (thanks for the Yes Kicks) than Big Cass. A win over Daniel Bryan will be a top career boost for Big Cass, as he will be featured as a non-stoppable heel in the upcoming days.

In another way, costing Daniel Bryan the match will be a bad decision at this moment. Therefore, my prediction for this match will be Daniel Bryan winning the match via submission.
