Impact Wrestling Redemption: Austin Aries vs Pentagon Jr. vs Rey Fenix

Every since TNA changed its name as Impact Wrestling, it has been doing quite good. Departure from superstars like Jeff Hardy hit hard in their rankings but yet they decided to push certain wrestlers who were buried by WWE. This Sunday we have a solid built PPV from Impact Wrestling featuring superstars from Lucha Underground, that would be Redemption. The mainevent is for the Impact World Championship and this feature Austin Aries and two superstars from Lucha Underground.

Austin Aries as Champion

Austin Aries, the current Impact World Champion aka The Belt Collector, is of the best example of what WWE has failed to achieve. Austin Aries made his return to Impact Wrestling in January 2018 and defeated Eli Drake and won the Impact World Championship.

Aries also won the Impact Grand Championship, making him a Grand Slam Champion. He also challenged Kenny King for a match at ROH.

This Sunday ( April 22 ) Austin Aries will have an ultimate challenge for his championship. Two big names from Lucha Underground joins to face The Belt Collector.

In case you didn’t know….

Austin Aries vs Pentagon Jr vs Rey Fenix was not the initial plan. Alberto El Patron vs. Austin Aries was the initial plan that Impact Wrestling had in mind. But El Patron was fired on April 7th for not attending the night at Wrestlecon. This name is familiar to us but WWE never used him correctly. At Redemption Press Conference, Austin and El Patron had a brawl.

El Patron is a big heel now in Impact Wrestling. I am sure that during the match El Patrol will return and interfere in the main event.

Aries vs. Pentagon Jr. vs. Fenix already happened at Lucha Underground vs Impact Wrestling and Pentagon emerged victoriously. Austin made it official by announcing they will be joining once again and Austin would put his title on-line.

On April 19th, at the Go-Home show of Redemption, these three men were featured on the card. Pentagon pinned Felix after both of the men worked to get Austin out of the match. If this happens tomorrow, Pentagon will be walking out as the new Impact World Champion.

With that being said, My prediction would be El Patron interfering in the mainevent at Redemption. El Patron would cost Austin his title and they would square of a breath-taking thriller match in an upcoming PPV.

We will find this out tomorrow in Orlando, Florida.
