What’s Next For AJ Styles After Wrestlemania 34?
Having WrestleMania 34 just 3 weeks away we have a clear scenario of the Phenomenal One vs. Rising Sun facing off in New Orleans.
Shinsuke Nakamura winning the Royal Rumble match and AJ Styles retaining the WWE Title at Fastlane gave us what we all want. AJ Styles surely will love to rejuvenate his feud with the Japanese superstar from NJPW and their Wrestle Kingdom 10 bout.
However, the expectation is Nakamura will be winning the WWE Title because WWE officials are planning something big for the Phenomenal One after WrestleMania 34.
According to wildly running rumors, Styles will be switching brands from SmackDown LIVE to Monday Night RAW after The Grandest Stage of Them All as a result of a Superstar Shakeup.
So here are some possible and potential feuds for AJ Styles after WrestleMania 34:
5. Rey Mysterio
The Rey Mysterio made a surprise appearance that no one could have thought of at the 2018 Royal Rumble. He was in the best shape since his initial years. He was light, super fast, agile and never once appeared out of breath.
There is currently no news on him signing a WWE contract but Vince McMahon could convince Booyaka 619 to be back in the company. If the red brand gets Rey Mysterio and AJ Styles, already you can imagine two of the most dazzling, exciting and death-defying superstars in WWE history giving their best to a feud that will be remembered forever.
The contest of ages might spark post-WrestleMania 34. Dazzling matches will make every single person in the arena rejoice and all of those many watching it on TV.
Author’s note: The next one I personally would like to see it happen.
4. Seth Rollins
In April 2006, a 19-year-old Seth Rollins (wrestling under the name, Tyler Black) squared off against TNA Wrestling star AJ Styles during a local independent show.
That match gave a boost to the young Rollins’s career. You can believe in the intensity of the match when Seth Rollins faces Older, Smarter and Better AJ Styles after 12 years of their last collision. Rumor has it that Seth will be traded to SmackDown LIVE. It’s WWE after all, you can never assume what’s inside of Vince McMahon’s mind.
Two of the best Superstars of the current generation can take the feud to levels that we can never imagine. The King Slayer and the Phenomenal One will prove the feud to be Dramatic Dream come true.
3. Finn Balor
Last year at TLC, Finn Balor was supposed to battle with Bray Wyatt, but a viral illness prevented the Eater of Worlds from competing, WWE needed to find a replacement and AJ Styles was the name that came out atop. Balor won the match as the Demon King in the battle of the Bullet Club leaders.
The bout was one of the main roster’s best of the year.
If WWE starts this WrestleMania worthy feud you won’t demand anything more than that, we all know what both superstars are capable of and if given an opportunity the feud won’t cause any disappointment to anyone in the WWE Universe.
2. Samoa Joe
Both Styles and Joe have faced each other numerable times during their tenure in TNA Wrestling, participating in TNA’s one-and-only five-star match with Christopher Daniels, in a three-way bout at the Unbreakable PPV for the X-Division Championship. AJ Styles and Samoa Joe teamed up for the last time to face Christopher Daniels and Frankie Kazarian in a dark match on Ring of Honor before Joe left the company to join NXT.
After Styles made his shocking debut at the 2016 Royal Rumble, it gave us a clearer picture of a future AJ Styles vs. Samoa Joe feud. The two of them can give us a hell of a match! The Samoan Submission Machine vs. The Phenomenal One would be a great sight.
Coming Up With The Last One….
1. Roman Reigns
In an Extreme Rules match, Styles and Reigns brawled all over the arena in what remains one of the greatest matches of 2016. The feud ended when Seth Rollins returned post-match to deliver a Pedigree to Reigns and sent both men on to their next program. WWE has a chance to finish the unfinished business this time.
No matter whether you like Reigns or not, he has good chemistry with AJ Styles which gave us 2 best matches of 2016.
The Big Dog and the Phenomenal AJ both are the most protected WWE Superstars right now. Roman Reigns may come out of WrestleMania as WWE Universal Champion and AJ Styles will lend the WWE Title to Shinsuke Nakamura.
On the red brand, The Big Dog and The Phenomenal One can put on their best for the Big Red Title.
New prospective of this feud could give us a Bullet Club vs. The Shield after Ambrose’s return.
Finn Balor and AJ Styles leading the Club vs. Roman Reigns, Dean Ambrose, Seth Rollins and the Shield brothers would result in a fantastically fabulous brawl that will make a name for all the 7 men in the history of pro-wrestling.
These were 5 possible and potential feuds for AJ Styles. Hope you will like it. Let us know via the comment box, we are always open for a conversation.
An athlete like AJ Styles can level up to any match and we want WWE to utilize his talent and entertain us more with great feuds.
Have a nice day, have some fun and be PHENOMENAL.
