UFC 217: Most exiting PPV in recent history.

On November 4th, 2017 in New York City, NY 1800+ attend UFC 217 live at Madison Square Garden. This event was filled with big names.

We saw three title fights, not only that but the preliminary on UFC fight pass was exciting with Bantamweight Ricardo Ramos KOed Aiemann Zahabi with spinning back elbow in 1:58 of the third round and Heavyweight.

Curtis Blaydes defeated Oleksiy Oliynyk after a doctor stoppage in the second round. In the Preliminaries at FS1 we saw an exciting Welterweight bout where Randy Brown defeated Mickey Gall with unanimous decision.

Light Heavyweight Ovince Saint Preux defeated Corey Anderson at 1:25 of the third round.

Plus heavyweight Walt Harris got disqualified for using illegal head kick in the first round giving Mark Godbeer the win. James Vick won via TKO in the second round going over Joseph Duffy.

Main Card on PPV.

Middleweight Paulo Costa defeated Johny Hendricks in the second round, after dominating all three rounds Stephen Thompson won via unanimous decision over Jorge Masvidal.

In the first title fight of the night the underdog Rose Namajunas dethroned the undefeated strawweight queen Joanna Jedrzejczyk in 3:03 of the very first round via TKO. Therefore, Rose became the new champion in the process.

Next we had a grudge match between former teammates turn bitter rivals Cody Garbrandt the undefeated champion losing his belt to the former and now the new champion T.J Dillashaw. The bout ended via TKO of second round.

In the main event we saw the middleweight champion Michael Bisping taking on one the greatest fighter that MMA has seen in former Welterweight Champion Georges St-Pierre. Where GSP made history becoming only one of the four man to ever hold world title in two weight classes. GSP choked out Bisping via rear-naked choke in the third round, closing an exiting night with shocking results and a very entertaining PPV.
